A1: Yes, we can laminate specific functional surfaces onto our PET core. This creates a hybrid acoustic/functional panel. This is a custom product with a minimum project quantity, typically 200 square meters, and requires a custom sample process.
Q2: Is it possible to have panels with varying acoustic properties across a single surface?
A2: This is a highly complex request. While we can create panels with different perforation patterns in different zones, designing and testing such a panel for predictable performance is an advanced R&D project with significant minimums.
Q3: What is the lead time for developing and producing a completely new type of acoustic product?
A3: The development timeline for a new product is project-specific and can take months from concept to production-ready sample. Once finalized, the production lead time would be established based on the new manufacturing process.
Q4: What is the MOQ for a pilot run of an innovative product concept?
A4: Pilot runs for genuine product development are negotiated separately. They are often priced higher per unit due to setup costs and have a minimum quantity that makes the run feasible for our factory, which we would determine together.
Q5: Are innovative custom products covered by the same 1-year warranty?
A5: Yes, but the warranty would apply specifically to the materials and workmanship of the product as delivered and agreed upon in the custom specification. Performance of unproven innovative features may have separate terms.
